Students Can Take Action

One of the many programs that the Stanislaus County Office of Education coordinates is the PHAST Youth Coalition.

  • PHAST stands for “Protecting Health and Slamming Tobacco”.

  • PHAST’s mission is to Protect Health And Slam Tobacco by organizing peer education and advocacy projects in our schools, our communities, and throughout Stanislaus County.

  • Current PHAST Club membership is over 500 students from 29 different high schools around the County.

  • These students work to educate their peers, younger students, and the community on the dangers of tobacco and nicotine use to create a healthier overall community.
